Outdoor activities in the
green perigord
Located in the heart of Regional
Park "Périgord-Limousin ' in France, the
cottage gives you access from the
doorstep crossed on numerous
excursions on foot or by bike. An
aquatic center is open outdoors in
summer at Thiviers. Another newly
built center is open all year at
Périgueux. A ropes course is also
available in the village of St Jory
Chalais.
Gastronomy and local products
The Dordogne is a
department of France
where these words are
highlighted. Country of
foie gras, truffles and
wine, local producers
have to constantly make
you discover and enjoy
the various open markets
in Dordogne. The
oldest is at
Piégut-Pluviers. It takes
place every Wednesday
morning. Other important
markets in the region;
Thiviers (Saturday
morning), Nontron
(Friday morning) and
Brantome (Tuesday and
Friday morning). You can
also taste the meat of
bison of the green perigord. A farm is located
at 3 km from the
cottages.
